I will hold the Greens and Lib Dems to account

Help me hold the Greens and Lib Dems to account.

Without proper debate and diligent scrutiny, bad decisions are made and Council Tax is wasted.  That is the case whoever holds absolute power.  Currently it's the Lib Dems.

At the last Council elections in 2022 (at the height of the Boris scandal) the Conservatives polled 27% of the votes but lost all but one of their seats, which subsequently was lost in a by election.

• Lib Dem     55%

• Con            27%

• Lab              11%

• Green         5%

This has left Richmond as one of the London boroughs least aligned to the electorate's votes at the last local elections.

May 7th gives voters the chance to restore effective democracy by providing rigorous scrutiny on all Council matters.
