Your council should be making life simpler and cheaper for you, the Council Tax payer.  At a time of intense financial pressure for local business from massive business rates rises, our Council should be doing everything it can to boost footfall and sales.

When Croydon Council introduced one hour free parking, parking usage went up by 18.5%.  We all know how quickly time on a half hour ticket evaporates!  An hour will give locals a chance to visit more shops without the fear of incurring fines.

Half an hour isn't enough!  Use May 7th to vote for an hour.
