Centralised Lib Dem platitudes not addressing local needs

This election is only about how much Council Tax you pay, how it's spent, and whether every pound you pay helps deliver the right services for those who need them most.

Taking their last point first:  The Lib Dems are one of the biggest voices for even more government spending and consequently even more taxation.  Is that the message you want your vote to make?

I wouldn't expect the Lib Dems to talk about their mis-management of Coucil spending.

However, more importantly, none of the the many leaflets dropped on my doormat by the Lib Dem campaign machine ever talk about one of their key policy initiatives, the introduction of many more restrivtive traffic zones.  Why?  Because they are neither wanted nor needed and cause huge disruption to resident's lives.

The Lib Dems don't advertise  their intentions because they don't want you to know before you vote.

Instead, they push through our doors a forest of centrally produced generic platitudes.

Your Conservative team is local in every sense.  Every policy and priority are made-to-measure to suit the needs of Twickenham Riverside.

Well done to the Liberal Democrats. It is an outstanding achievement to win every seat on the Council.
